Portfolio Resident Services, Inc. was formed as a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization in April 2009.  It was created to deliver effective programs and support services to individuals, families and senior citizens living in affordable housing communities.

Portfolio Resident Services accomplishes this through the Good Neighbor Program (the Program).  The Program allows us to create and implement innovative approaches to promote self-sufficiency and improve quality of life for low income persons.  We are an organization with a huge amount of potential for enhancing the lives of those served, in part by forging partnerships with other nonprofit organizations that provide social services.

Portfolio Resident Services is among the largest providers of resident services in the United States.  Programs are provided at no cost to the resident, and at minimal cost to the owners of affordable and conventional housing communities. In 2011, we debuted our new leasing and retention initiatives, designed to increase lease closing ratios, resident satisfaction, occupancy, and community stability and to reduce turnover.
